Regsitered with the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (1063) - Chinese medicine practitioner (Acupuncturist), Chinese medicine specialist - Mental health

Kate Roberts holds a PhD in Primary Health Care, a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Post-graduate Certificate in Psychological Medicine and a Bachelors of Acupuncture. She is the founder and Chair of the Acupuncture for Mental Health group in Wellington which builds collabortive care pathways and advocates for Chinese medicine as a treatment option for mental wellness.

Kate’s clinical practice specialises in the treatment of mental health, musculo-skeletal conditions, and women’s health. She utilises an evidence informed approach, and works within a collaborative framework with other allied and mainstream practitioners.

Kate remains extremely passionate about offering holistic acupuncture treatments, with a focus on working with patients to achieve their maximum potential, both physically and mentally.

Kate also works as a professional advisor to the Chinese Medical Council of New Zealand and as a fitness coach at F45 Basin reserve.
