Acupuncture

Bendy Buddha Acupuncture utilises Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern nutritional advice to maximise results from treatment.

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body. The aim of acupuncture is to help the body restore balance, relive inflammation, and reduce stress. An extensive consultation process precedes the treatment to ensure that the treatment is uniquely tailored to your specific needs.

Acupuncture often involves not only needles but is often combined with herbal medicine, moxibustion (warming herbs) and cupping or gua sha (massage techniques).

Acupuncture is considered safe in the hands of a well-trained practitioner and has been found to be cost effective for some conditions including chronic pain, depression and migraines. The quality and quantity of research into acupuncture’s effectiveness is increasing.

Acupuncturists at Bendy Buddha are members of Acupuncture NZ and are Registered ACC  treatment providers
